Detection the foreign object（Generally refers to wooden block）
Use the toggle switch to switch the exact mode (the maximum depth of 20mm) or deep mode (the maximum depth of 38mm) to detect foreign objects.
1.Hold the instrument tightly against the wall properly, then press the power-on measuring button 1 and wait for the indicator light 3 to turn green. At this time, start moving the instrument to the left or right in the same direction to detect foreign objects in the wall.
Note 1. When moving the instrument, Make sure the instrument is properly close to the wall. In the measurement process, if the indicator light 3 is off (the display screen is not off), the device should be stopped at this time and wait for a few seconds until the device lights up the green light. Then the detection can be continued。
Note 2: During the detection, when there is a signal on the indicator area a on the display screen, it is necessary to release the stop button 1 and start up again to wait for the indicator light to light up the green light.
2.When the instrument is moved and receives signal feedback from the foreign body, At this time, a foreign body should be present near the detection area. Continue moving the instrument in the original direction. When the instrument is directly above the foreign object, the center icon C will be displayed, And the buzzer keeps making DI sounds(Note: when the ac signal is received simultaneously,The buzzer will keep sending out “DI DI DI”sound short and urgently,When the instrument does not receive an ac signal,The buzzer keeps making DI sounds),Now hold the instrument and mark with a pen,The current foreign body detection completed.
ÅNote: do not release the button 5 for the whole measurement; otherwise, please press step 1 and 2 again for testing。
Reminder1：Test back and forth on both sides of the subject repeatedly, and the central position of the subject will be more accurate ,Repeat detect from one side to another of the measured object back and forth，The central position of the object to be measured will be more accurate。
Metal detection
Use the toggle switch to switch metal mode
1.Press and hold the button 1 to start up, the instrument enters the metal detection mode, and the indicator lamp 1 lights up the green light, indicating that the instrument can start the metal detection operation.
ÅNote: at this time, if there is no metal interference around the instrument, the indicator lamp 3 will be red and the buzzer will sound, so the instrument needs to be calibrated. Calibration operation: put the instrument in an environment free of metal interference, press button 1 continuously in the mode of metal detection, until indicator light 3 turns green.。
1、 Put the detector on the surface of the object and move it in the same direction.As the instrument gets closer to the metal object, the signal indicator icon a on the display screen will gradually display，At the same time, the indicator light 3 turns red and the buzzer sounds continuously（Note: when the ac signal is received at the same time,，The buzzer will keep sending out “DI DI DI”sound short and urgently；When the ac signal is not received，The buzzer will make a continuous DI sound）；As the instrument moves away from the object, the signal indicating icon will gradually disappear. The probe has been completed。
ÅNote: do not release the button 1 for the whole measurement; otherwise, please re-press step 1 and step 2 for testing.
